Fire Safety Installation
A bespoke office fit-out for a logistical company with a focus on fire safety, including the installation of a full 1 hour fire rated system.
The client had been told to create a 1 hour fire rated tunnel by building control, appointing KB Interiors to carry out the work.
The KB Interiors team created the 1 hour fire rated tunnel using 70mm stud and track with 2 x 15mm fireline plasterboards on each side. The team also applied a tape and fill finish to all joints for safety purposes.
As part of this project, KB Interiors also installed a 1 hour fire rated suspended ceiling.
In addition, all doors and frames were required to be 1 hour fire rated.
